1. Agasthyarkoodam

Located 486 km from Bangalore, Agasthyarkoodam trek is an exotic experience for anyone visiting South India. Standing at an elevation of 6129 feet above sea level, the Agasthyarkoodam peak is situated in between the states of Kerala (Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam) and Tamil Nadu (Thirunelveli and Kanyakumari). The ‘Agasthyamala Biosphere Reserve’ is a highly protected area and is included in the World Network of Biosphere Reserves of UNESCO. Agasthyarkoodam is also known for its unique flora and fauna. 2. Agumbe

Situated in the Shimoga district of Karnataka, Agumbe is known as the ‘Cherrapunji of South India’. It is a small hill village standing at an elevation of 2700 feet above sea level. 15. Bhoga Nandeeswara Temple
